The Moon Guard CampaignThis is a featured page

In a world of lies, war is never far away

So, what is this wiki about anyway? The simple answer is, an imaginary land of shiny knights and toiling peasants. The Middle Ages then, but not quite. InThe Moon Guard Campaign, a Slavic-like culture expanded into a great Empire [like Rome did in our world], through ages of war and conquest, and in this setting, we play a role playing game. The players who are exploring this setting are based in one tiny corner of this great, imaginary land called the Empyríon, or Empyre - and in this tiny corner, a lot of stuff is happening; ancient evil beast-men come crawling out of hiding, a feudal lord has delusions of grandieur and is claiming himself to be a King; his noble underlings are thrown into a civil war over this; and much more .. and the player characters are, of course, in the thick of it.

So, for the players of the game, this wiki is meant to be a digital sourcebook, a place where they can dig up stuff they have forgotten, or just want to know more about. For me, the creator of the setting and the guy who runs the game, it is a place to store the information, rework it, update it, and use as a reference (the setting has kind of grown beyond what I can keep in a simple binder).

For the occasional visiting roleplayer og gamemaster, this wiki can be an inspiration. Or a place from which to steal stuff. Character names, interesting locations, whatever.

It is hard to keep all the setting information organized; but I continue to work at it to make it as user-friendly (and of course, player-friendly) as possible. If you happen to live in or nearby Oslo, maybe you'd like to join our group. The more the merrier. The game system we use for playing out the adventures of the campaign is The Riddle of Steel, by Driftwood Publishing.
